Today, they continue to produce premium baking ingredients for home bakers and novice cooks globally. The distinctive cream packaging and famous Odlums Owl logo are instantly recognisable. In fact, the owl is actually part of the Odlum family crest.

They are constantly developing our product range to meet and exceed your changing needs. Along with a range of gluten-free, spelt and organic products, we also offer a wide variety of sweet and savoury Bake Your Own Mixes, perfect for when you need a helping hand.

Their range now includes over 120 products produced at the Portarlington milling facility in Ireland, including the fast-growing Organic, Spelt, Gluten Free, and Bake Your Own ranges, while also introducing new packaging solutions, such as the resealable tub range, all in response to consumers’ needs.

Relevance to the market

Odlums are a national treasure in Ireland and consistency and quality have stood the test of time. Nimble enough to innovate especially during the Pandemic as novice bread makers and bakers exploded throughout the world. Gluten-Free ranges, Spelt, and the resealable tub range are recent additions, which stem from listening to the customer.

Current distribution

The Bake Your Own Ranges have enjoyed distribution in Coles and Woolworths, in particular the Odlums Farmhouse Brown Bread Mix. The larger 1KG pack is popular with Chefs in Hotels, who can pre-bake and freeze traditional brown in under 30 minutes. Ideal to serve with breakfast, soups and beef & Guinness pie.
