Taste CEO Eamon Eastwood was awarded the Chairman’s Award at the world’s largest St Patricks Day luncheon. The luncheon was held at Sydney SCC on Friday 18th March 2021. The award is presented to someone within the Irish-Australian community that has contributed significantly to the Irish community. Eamon started Taste Ireland soon after arriving in Australia in 2004, at the same time forming a GAA Club Cormac McAnallens and former Deputy Chair at the Lansdowne Club. In his acceptance speech, he reminded everyone about the company’s very humble beginnings from his bedroom, thanked the Sydney Irish community and his wonderfully talented team and acknowledged his Great Great Grandfather Jim Scullin, who was the first Catholic Prime Minister of Australia.
